Lauren Tran, Senior Staff Writer
Lauren Tran is a junior and the AV Radio Editor for the 2023-24 school year. This is her second year in AVJ. She loves photography, writing stories, and creating podcasts because she hopes to connect students through her work. Last year, Lauren received a Best of Sno award for a profile she wrote, which further enforced her passion for journalism. Her goals for this year are to grow as a journalist, push out important and impactful work, and use her skills to better the community.
Aside from journalism, Lauren is an avid reader, explorer, and Stranger Things enthusiast. She loves traveling the world because she enjoys the sights, history, and overall culture each place has to offer. Lauren tries to get involved in the community whenever she can because she believes a single deed can make all the difference in a person’s life. Lauren is always open-minded and has probably tried every activity, craft, and skill at least once. Lauren plays softball for Amador and her competitive travel team, and she hopes to play in college. She aspires to attend a liberal arts college and get a good education.
