Aakanksha Balachander, Amadon Editor
Aakanksha Balachander, a sophomore experiencing her first year on the AV Journalism team, is a Page Editor for the Amadon. She spent elementary and middle school in Fremont, spending most of her time deeply immersed in books. That love for reading quickly translated into a passion for writing. Aakanksha is excited to contribute to the team and hopes to expand her writing and leadership skills in the coming year.
In her free time, Aakanksha is usually found in a pool, either at swim or water polo practice. She enjoys Starbucks lattes, going to the mall, and listening to Taylor Swift. She can read, write, and speak both English and Tamil. Aakanksha, a Silver and Bronze Award Girl Scout, is currently working on her Gold. After high school, Aakanksha plans on attending a four-year university and hopes to study law.
