Caleb Hong joined the AV Journalism team in 2023 for the first time because he wanted to explore. Bored of all his usual school experiences, he wanted to meet new people and discover new ideas. And although he may not have as much experience as his peers on the AVJ team, he is a voracious learner when he finds something he is interested in.
Caleb has lived his whole life in Pleasanton. He went to Fairlands Elementary and Hart Middle School. With his extra time, Caleb serves as captain of his competitive soccer team. He spends most of his weekends traveling around California trying semi-successfully to get recruited and noticed by colleges in showcases. He enjoys reading fiction novels, and his favorite book is Naked Lunch. He often lays around with his cat, aptly named Bubbles, either reading or watching TV.
