Rebecca Mestel is an editor for Amador Valley Today and is thrilled to be able to expand her writing and leadership skills. This is her first year in journalism, but she has loved reading and writing for as long as she can remember. As a student, Rebecca thoroughly enjoys school, learning, and asking questions that may or may not have an answer. However, she hates standardized tests with a passion. Outside of the classroom, Rebecca enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her friends and family. She loves anything and everything Disney and when given a choice, will gravitate towards those sorts of movies over anything else.
