Rebecca Mestel, AVT Senior Editor
In her second year with AV Journalism, Rebecca Mestel (‘25) is a senior editor for AmadorValleyToday and the crossword editor for the Amadon. She is thrilled to continue expanding her writing and leadership skills, but is even more excited to hopefully make an impact on the next generation of student journalists. Her favorite thing about journalism is being able to use it as a platform for good, whether that be combating misinformation or spreading good vibes.
As a student, Rebecca thoroughly enjoys school, learning, and asking questions that may or may not have an answer. Outside of the classroom, Rebecca loves reading, baking, and spending time with her friends and family. She loves anything and everything Disney and when given a choice, will gravitate towards those sorts of movies over anything else.
