Atop hippie hill, all of the US history teachers gathered to spread the flower-power.
Mr. Dalldorf and Mr. Murphy fully embraced the hippie vibes on counterculture day.
With neon colors, lava lamps, and strobe lights, Dalldorf’s room was turned into a hippie haven.
Students were tasked with developing a presentation about a song from the era and sharing their newfound knowledge with the class.
Shielded by period correct beaded curtains, comfy beanbag chairs awaited students.
These fully decked out classrooms provided the perfect environment to learn about the counterculture of the 60’s and 70’s.
Students had the opportunity to pick from a variety of colors while tie-dying, allowing them to embrace the full rainbow.
Students and teachers gathered atop “Hippie Hill” during lunch to celebrate all things 70’s.
The teachers started a dance that grew exponentially as students joined in.
Ms. Murray was rocking a quintessentially 70’s outfit—check out the headband and the vintage leather vest!
