Parsa Hassanpour

Parsa Hassanpour, Staff Writer

Stumbling around in his first year of AV Journalism, Parsa Hassanpour has been forced to figure out countless new things and circumstances. Originally coming to San Francisco in 2007, the Hassanpour family has been all around the US, from the snow-filled, empty abyss of Wisconsin to America’s beating heart of New York. This constant moving led to Parsa becoming a very adaptable and curious person (as well as him acquiring a hatred of humid weather).

Outside of journalism, Parsa loves spending time with his friends, whether it be biking or playing a video game. On quieter days, he often reads, writes, and desperately tries to understand the morning’s math lesson. Filled with ambition, Parsa seeks to improve as much as he can as a writer this year in preparation for his career in the field of disagreeable annoying people more colloquially known as law. He plans to do so by writing mostly about world news, thanks to his unhealthy fascination with politics, but he may dabble with local stories as well.
