Soumya Rangan, Photo Editor-in-Chief
Soumya Rangan is a junior entering her second year of journalism. She passionately participated in creative writing camps over summers and journaled her vacations as a way of recording, and remembering her fun. As the Photo EIC, Soumya is looking forward to being part of the Amador spirit, where she will be able to channel her inner purple while also collaborating with amazing teachers and peers.
Using her dog as a footrest, she loves listening to music, reading historical fiction, and surfing YouTube. Soumya also loves to run for fun and has taken part in the AVHS Cross Country team. She has spent her last 11 years of her life with Indian music and has given concerts both in the Bay Area and India. With leadership experience from being a club president in middle school and high school, Soumya plans to take part in the EIC team diligently, and is looking forward to making the 2021-22 AVJ team better than ever before!
