Gigi Zhang, Amadon Editor-In-Chief
Gigi Zhang is a senior and this is her second year in AV Journalism. She never would have imagined herself as a part of journalism; however, she was inspired by the welcoming atmosphere and the amazing staff to join two years ago. Gigi loves using her creativity to make both physical and digital projects including drawings, paintings, photo edits, vlogs, and digital pieces. This school year, Gigi is excited to learn to edit segments, write stories, learn from others, and meet new people.
In her free time, Gigi enjoys bullet journaling as her way of planning her week. Ever since the pandemic, she picked up this hobby and used it to destress and get herself together. She is also passionate about art, and Gigi continues to practice drawing and painting weekly. Something new Gigi has begun lately is meditating; it helps her relax and slow down her stress and terminate anxious thoughts. At home, she has a white-furred labradoodle named pink, and Gigi loves to spend time with Pink.
