Aakanksha Balachander, AVT Editor-in-Chief
In her third year at AVJ, Aakanksha is excited to work as an AVT Editor in Chief and Social Media Editor in Chief. Aakanksha is excited to lead to AVJ team and hopes continue to grow the program in the coming year. She hopes to spend her senior year collaborating in a the joyful community she first met her sophmore year and enjoy a wonderful year with her team.
In her free time, Aakanksha is usually found in a pool at swim practice. She can read, write, and speak both English and Tamil. Her favorite things to do in her free time include reading, writing, and scrapbooking. Aakanksha, a Silver and Bronze Award Girl Scout, is currently working on her Gold Award to lead a team to encourage literacy in India. After high school, Aakanksha plans on attending a four-year university and hopes to study law.
