As sports videography and photography become more popular, Bryan Kenitzer is joining the trend. His videography business, BK Pro Video, is known by Amador students for capturing their highlights. His son, McKay Kenitzer (‘26), follows in his footsteps with his Instagram account, MK Pro Video.
“I’ve always had an appreciation for video and music, and pictures and music, and combining them together as keepsakes. I’ve been doing it since I got my first camera, probably when I was a teenager,” said Bryan Kenitzer.
A personal connection
Although Bryan Kenitzer has a full-time sales job at a camera manufacturing company, taking videos and pictures has always been part of his life.
“I’ve been a wedding videographer. I’ve probably filmed 25 weddings. And then I’ve done newborn baby videos and announcements. I’ve done corporate stuff. I’ve done a lot of different things. But it’s always been like a passion side hustle for me,” said Bryan Kenitzer.
Bryan Kenitzer first became interested in photography and videography at a young age, inspired by his dad, who always had a camera in hand.
“A lot of the reason why I love doing what I’m doing is just from the cherished memories I have from the videos and the pictures that he took my whole life,” said Bryan Kenitzer.
Another inspiration for Bryan Kenitzer was Joe Madden, the son of NFL coach and long-time Pleasanton resident John Madden, who coached the freshman football team during Kenitzer’s senior year as a varsity player at Foothill.
“[Madden] created a highlight video for my senior season. It was the first time Foothill had won the NCS championship. And so for me, I had this keepsake of my senior year, and he put it to music. It’s something I’ve always had,” said Bryan Kenitzer.
Sports as a focus
Brayn Kenitzer’s videos have a personal connection. Sports are Bryan Kenitzer’s main subject because of the memories he has.
“I like being around the athletes. I was a former athlete. And it helps keep me close to the game,” said Bryan Kenitzer.
When McKay Kenitzer chose AP photography as his visual and performing arts graduation requirement, his dad encouraged him to create an Instagram similar to his own.
“Once I started taking pictures, my dad told me ‘you might as well post them,’ so I made an account, pretty much just following him, and he’s guided me a lot,” said McKay Kenitzer.
Like his dad, McKay Kenitzer enjoys the new experiences that come with photography, specifically sports photography.
“I’ve gone to a lot of sports games that I wouldn’t normally go to. It’s just been a good experience,” said McKay Kenitzer.
Additionally, Bryan Kenitzer has a Linktree with links to his social media platforms and a donation link for his business. He wishes to continue his passion in the future, in whatever way that may be.
“If I can share my talent and create some fun memories for somebody, that makes me happy,” said Bryan Kenitzer.

Bryan has always loved videography and photography as a powerful tool for preserving Family History by capturing memories that will eventually fade from from our minds if we don’t occasionally refresh them with well done Photo and Video presentations 😆📸🎥📽️🎞️
