Erika Yan, Staff Writer
Erika Yan ('21) has been interested in journalism for a while now, but like the typical procrastinator she is, decided to take it her very last year. This is her first year on the AV Journalism team and she is excited to write about current events around the world as well as local events close to home. She also hopes to explore the different aspects of journalism like video editing and graphic design.
Outside of school, Erika loves to try new restaurants, play soccer, and hoard stationery (yikes). She also enjoys reading and trying out different musical instruments, and hopes to incorporate her interests into her work. Erika is looking forward to being a part of this community on campus and working with different people. Ultimately, she just hopes to get through this year without sleeping through too many Zoom calls.
