Arun Reyes, Staff Writer
Arun Reyes (‘28) is in his first year with AV Journalism as a staff writer in Mrs. Kamali’s journalism class. He made the choice to join journalism in his freshman year after being in Mrs. Kamali’s Honors English Class. He is also a part of Boy Scouts of America where he often assists in projects around the community of Pleasanton. Mrs. Reyes works at Amador as a calculus teacher.
When he is free, he usually spends his time listening or making music in his bedroom. He also enjoys snowboarding and makes an effort to go with his older brother at least once a year, who is in college at UCLA. He enjoys staying physically active and is a blackbelt in taekwondo. As a result of his mother being a math teacher, he often has to study math at home on weekends. He also enjoys spending time with his dog and visiting his grandparents.
