  • Pleasanton downtown is almost as busy as ever, with a few changes including residents wearing masks while walking and outdoor dining.

  • In order to protect both customer and employee safety but keep their business open, several restaurants downtown are offering takeout.

  • Despite Covid-19 and poor air quality, many families opt to dine in the tables set outside downtown restaurants. While eating, the diners do not wear masks, but restaurant staff try to stay safe by serving while wearing masks.

  • Only kitchen staff are allowed to be inside the restaurants, but staff also make sure to wear masks at all times so as to protect their safety along with the other employees.

  • Every restaurant is equipped with hand sanitizer and signs mandating masks so customers are reminded of safety precautions wherever they go.

  • Despite numerous safety restrictions, groups of family and friends seize the opportunity of outdoor dining to enjoy a nice afternoon or evening outside their favorite downtown restaurant.
