Apple’s latest release, the AirPods 4, is making waves as a top contender for Christmas gifts this holiday season. It boasts advanced features such as improved noise cancellation, customizable sound settings, and a redesigned fit. These earbuds capture the attention of tech enthusiasts and casual users alike.
“A lot of kids listen to music, and I like listening to music. So I think [the Airpods 4] are good,” said Mia Harris (‘27).
One of the standout features of the AirPods 4 is its enhanced noise cancellation. This feature is a game-changer for users trying to focus on daily tasks, work out at the gym, or relax to music without any distractions.
“The noise canceling is the most impressive feature. If I need to do schoolwork and I’m on a time crunch, the noise canceling is super helpful,” said Megan Hoang (‘26).
The AirPods 4 also addresses comfort and sound customization, setting them apart from previous models. Its ability to sense movements with comfortability appeals to those who prefer a tailored listening experience.
“It feels way better than the second version of AirPod Pros. This one just sits really nicely on your ears,” said Hoang.
Battery life and connectivity are often key considerations for wireless earbuds. In terms of those factors, the AirPod 4s delivered strong performance on both fronts.
“They last around two days, so I don’t really have to charge them that much,” said Hoang.
Priced between $130 and $180, with discounts bringing it as low as $120, the AirPods 4 represents a premium investment. Compared to other wireless earbuds, the AirPods 4 are the best quality earbuds for their price.
“If you’re willing to spend that much money, it’s worth it for the durability and how long [the battery] lasts,” said Hoang.
When considering whether the AirPods 4 makes a good holiday gift, their potential to enhance productivity is a key selling point. Users who prioritize focus and efficiency may find these earbuds particularly appealing.
“These are a good gift for people that want to listen to music and if they just wanna have a good [headphone] for studying, ” said Harris.
