Leon is a fun and sporty junior who attends Amador Valley High School. He loves spending every second he’s got playing basketball. Some may say he even sleeps with a basketball in his hands. Sometimes, he even pretends to dribble and shoot without actually holding a basketball in his hands, what a maniac. Although he might seem shy and non-talkative on the surface, but once you get to know him, he’s the complete opposite. He opens up to you and will not stop laughing at the dumbest things.
He took journalism as a subject for his first year here at Amador hoping to work on his essay writing and build relationships with others. “He loves to talk to you about anything at all”, especially sports. He says he is ready for any work or challenges this year in journalism, and will work his butt off for tasks given to him. Although he doesn’t have a complete understanding of all the jobs and activities in Journalism, he still has an open mind about everything and is willing to learn.
