Austin Coyne ('21) is a senior who has finally gotten around to taking journalism this year. Austin hopes to become a better writer and to use knowledge of video editing skills he acquired from Video Production. His interest in journalism comes from always wanting to be informed on worldwide events and wanting to visit new places. He looks to pursue journalism as a possible career in college.
Austin has lived in Pleasanton nearly his whole life after moving from Dublin at a very young age. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and golf, as well as indoor activities such as playing video games and hanging out with friends. At home, Austin lives with his two hard-working parents, a 14-year old sister who always looks for new ways to have fun, and a five year old Labradoodle dog that sleeps for 18 hours a day.
