Cole Mitooka (‘26) is a hard-working Staff Writer at the Amador Valley Journalism team. This is his first year in the program, but he strives to make an impact within Amador’s student and staff body. In the first couple of weeks in the class, he’s enjoyed going out and interviewing and interacting with all of the different personalities inside of Amador. Besides interacting with people, he enjoys taking pictures of other stories and finding new ways to approach certain situations. 

Apart from journalism and photography, Cole enjoys participating in his two main sports, wrestling and swimming. While those two hobbies take up the majority of his time, he still finds time to spend with friends and family. He also loves to travel to different places and try new things as much as he can; most recently, he’s been over his summer cliff jumping.
