Ariana Grande, grammy award winning pop star, announced on twitter that she will be the new upcoming judge on NBC’s hit show, “The Voice.” 

“Surprise !!! I am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson,@johnlegend, @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice! @nickjonas we will miss you,” said Grande tweeted from her verified Twitter account. 

Ariana Grande fans, as well as Amador students, are pumped to see her on the screen. 

“I am so happy “The Voice” decided to work with my favorite artist Ariana Grande. This  is a huge opportunity in her career to become a judge on an Emmy award winning tv show. She is truly an amazing and influential artist, and I’m so glad that she can share her talents on the show,” said Maddie Burke (21’). 

With Grande joining the show, millions of her fans will tune in to watch, giving the show way more publicity and views. She is known for her support and kindness, especially when it comes to the LGBTQ+ community. She’s a young, strong, and amazing woman who is not afraid to speak her mind. 

It will be interesting to see how she does in this next season in September of 2021.
