Mirika Pohray, Business Manager, AVT Copy Editor
Mirika Pohray is AVJ’s Business Manager alongside being a front page editor for the 2022-2023 school year. Mirika is passionate about reporting on hot topics, keeping those around her informed, and overall expanding of the mind. Mirika enjoys keeping up to date with current events, exploring creative fashion, and writing reviews about controversial movies. Journalism is her outlet in order to report on all things current and creative.
While not writing, Mirika enjoys watching various 90s movies with her cat. Playing the violin since 4th grade, it's safe to say that Mirika enjoys the classics. Her other hobbies include designing, writing poetry, studying business, and hanging out with friends. She also enjoys exploring the unknown in areas such as philosophy, anthropology, and sociology. In Amador’s business organization DECA, Mirika has placed and been awarded numerous awards for competing in various business related events, including a conference in Atlanta, Georgia. In the future, Mirika hopes to exert her extensive knowledge and help those around her in her future endeavors.
