Ashley Hunter, Show/Segments Producer
Ashley Hunter, a sophomore, is an AVtv Producer for the 2021-22 journalism class. She was able to go straight into the advanced journalism program as she showed great interest in the production of the AVtv show. She is excited for what the Journalism class has to offer her in the upcoming year.
Ashley started her love for anchoring around 12 years of age. In her 8th grade year at Harvest Park, the leadership class put her on HPtv to do segments and bring information regarding the school. She also lived in New York for two years and was able to see news broadcasts for CNBC being filmed at the New York Stock Exchange. Ashley then showed great interest in anchoring and filming news. She spends her free time at the Make-a-Wish Foundation club, a place to donate to kids in hospitals. She also enjoys drawing, hanging out with her friends, and cuddling with her dog, Lucy.
