Valentina Nero Ricce (‘28) is in her first year on AV journalism as a staff writer, hopefully a photographer. She feels that her objective is to capture the spirit of school life and hopes her pictures will tell stories that students will look back on with nostalgia and pride. As a kid, she always enjoyed filming and taking pictures, which traced her interests in visual storytelling and eventually led her to photography. Though she can be shy in unfamiliar environments, she always tries to keep positivity and a good mood for the people around her.

Outside of school, she enjoys painting and dancing. She also listens to music 24/7; she can’t live without her AirPods. When she isn’t behind a camera, she can be found sketching or practicing new dance routines. She hopes the abilities she develops now will open doors to even bigger creative opportunities in the future.
