Sikha Ray, Amadon Editor
Sikha Ray is a junior at Amador who is passionate about law, advocacy, and journalism. A returning member of AVJ, she is the editor of the Amadon. Additionally, Ray is part of the Amador swim team due to her enthusiasm for swimming. As an avid reader, outside of school Ray enjoys reading, spending time with her friend, and organizing drives for her non profit organization stand for shelter. She hopes to cover important issues around the campus and make an impact on the Amador community. In her new role as an editor she hopes to take initiative and introduce new and innovative ideas to the Amadon. Ray is responsible, flexible and a team player in and out of the journalism classroom. In addition to working on stories for journalism she also often creates podcasts focusing on fun events and other news for students and others around Pleasanton. This year in Journalism, she is excited to edit for the newspaper while also growing and strengthening her journalistic skills.
