In her first year as a staff writer on the AV Journalism team, Lotti Gal (‘28) is excited to explore stories that challenge her and engage readers. She previously served as an Editor-in-Chief on her middle school’s yearbook staff, where she developed the skills to lead thoughtfully and collaborate with her team. Her passion for bold and thought-provoking writing is reflected in her love of musicals such as Hamilton and 21 Chump Street.

In her free time, Lotti can be found volunteering at the Mini Cat Town at Stoneridge Mall or rewatching Brooklyn Nine-Nine for the fourth time. Some of her favorite things to do include testing new recipes to bake, grabbing boba with her friends, and jotting down story ideas in her Notes app. This year, she’s looking forward to publishing articles she’s proud of as she refines her writing.
