This is Akarsh’s first year of journalism taken out of interest as a senior. This year he hopes to use journalism to explore new fields and interests of photography, editing, recordings, improve writing techniques, etc.

He likes to play basketball, hit the drums, listen to music, and late night walks. Akarsh has a passion for coaching, volunteering in many basketball leagues and summer camps for young kids to enjoy sports and make connections while learning good morals. He has also interned and helped start ups with designing and poster promotions for their pages. Akarsh really loves vanilla ice cream and cherishes staying in touch with friends via phone calls or hang outs. He is excited for a calm fun year ahead.
