Students leave their stuff on the ground and practice without shoes to get used to the idea of wearing dance shoes which can be slippery like socks.

Dancers get their measurements taken care of for next year’s uniforms.

Practice consists of dancers mirroring the choreography of the instructor, movements has to be graceful and precise at the same time.

Coach David Zeihm teaches new choreography in six counts.

Newer members have fun building memories and practicing tosses with their flags for next year.

Ace Yu (26′), Captain for Varsity Winter guard , teaches and hones the skills of veterans and newer members.

Julia Tikhonov, coach to newer members, teaches their second dance workshop.

At the end of each session, the coaches have a sit down with members and encourage students to continue even if its a tough sport.
