AmadorValleyToday

Alexis Waiss ('20) is a staff writer for Amador’s 2018-19 Journalism class.  This is her first year working in Amador’s journalism program. Despite being only a new member of the AV Journalism staff, Alexis has the chops to write thought-provoking stories that will encourage conversation but is also determined to entertain readers with playful articles. Other than a writer Alexis is a diligent student, book worm, pun enthusiast, foodie, and a good friend.  She enjoys giving pep talks, eating carbs, sleeping, listening to music, and binging reality tv shows. On her free time, Alexis plays softball, writes/plays music, cuddles with her cat and watches the news while questioning humanity.  In the future she plans to go to a UC to get a Journalism or Communications degree. Alexis aspires to become a legitimate journalistic writer that will give a voice to the people, grow her own voice, and make a mark on the world with her writing.
