Video games are an interactive experience enjoyed by many here at Amador, and many enjoy playing multiplayer video game with friends. The newest game currently being enjoyed by many is Fortnite: Battle Royale.

Battle Royale is a concept in which one hundred players drop onto an island and are tasked with fighting each other until only one person remains.

This game started in March of 2017 with the release of another game called PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It’s incredible success influenced Fortnite, a zombie horde shooter game, to release a mode called Fortnite: Battle Royale.

Fortnite has taken Amador by storm. Whether in groups or alone, it seems that Amador students have found a new game to enjoy.

“It’s fun, I’ll play here and there with my friends…on the weekends,” said Nick Maestas (‘19).

Many have heard of the game from other friends.

“I heard about the game from people talking about it, it’s been the big talk around Pleasanton,” said Max Heverly (‘18).

Currently, Fortnite has over forty-five million players and counting. With many Amador students jumping into the game, it will not be hard to find a fun experience to have with other friends.
